Women's Political Network
Women's Political Network organized its first press conference to present the conclusion of the necessary amendments to the Montenegrin legislation in order to improve the political participation of women in Montenegro.
On behalf of the Women's Political Network, the demands were presented by politicians from the ranks of the ruling party and the opposition, as well as representatives of the academic community.
The conference was attended by politicians from many parties: BS, DEMOS, DPS, DF / Nova, DUA, Forca, LP, SD, SDP, SNP and URA. The press conference was preceded by a meeting of Women's Political Network with the Working Group for the implementation of the recommendations of the OSCE / ODIHR.
Women's Political Network was created within the program "Support to anti-discrimination and gender equality policies," funded by the European Union Delegation to Montenegro and implemented by the Office of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Montenegro in cooperation with the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights.
